The beauty of Xinduqiao is mainly characterized by the scenery of mountains and typical Tibetan customs. The mountain scenery along the way undulates continuously, and Tibetan villages are nestled here, filled with Tibetan – style charm everywhere. Here, you can see flat roads accompanied by winding rivers, typical Tibetan houses scattered on both sides, and in the distance, sheep and cattle roaming sparsely on the slopes, while birch trees glisten with golden light in the sun. It is known as the “world of light and shadow” and is a paradise longed for by photographers. The best time to visit Xinduqiao is usually from May and from August to October every year. During this period, the scenery is full of greenery and the golden hues are intoxicating, making it very suitable for photography and sightseeing. Since Xinduqiao is at an altitude of about 3,460 meters, with a plateau climate featuring large temperature differences and changeable weather, it is necessary to keep warm and adapt to the plateau environment when traveling there.
