Here is Songpan County in Aba Prefecture, which can be reached directly by bullet train. It’s a quaint little town located at the foot of snow-capped mountains and beside primeval forests. This time, I came here especially to check in at the snow-covered wooden cabins. It’s actually a homestay that I’ve been longing to visit for a long time after being attracted by it in “National Geographic”. It’s especially suitable for office workers to come and relax on weekends and clear their minds.

Erdao Lake
It’s about 17 kilometers away from Songpan County Town. There are various dry lakes to visit.

Zhaga Waterfall
It’s close to Erdao Lake. Tickets for these two scenic spots can be bought together or separately. The waterfall rushes down from a high place, just like the Milky Way falling from the Ninth Heaven, with a magnificent and powerful momentum.

Chuanzhu Temple
It’s about 17 kilometers away from Songpan County Town.
