⚠️Precautions
■It’s best not to get manicures or apply nail polish. People who have just arrived at the high altitude may not be able to tell whether they have altitude sickness or not, but if the color of your lips or nails is abnormal, others will immediately notice that you’re not feeling well.
■Make sure to do a good job of sun protection! The ultraviolet rays in western Sichuan are really strong, and sun protection is truly important! If you bring a sun hat, don’t choose the kind that has no cover in the middle, or your scalp will get sunburned!
■If you must wear makeup, just simply apply some foundation and draw your eyebrows! When taking pictures in western Sichuan, the key is to create a certain atmosphere. You’ll look beautiful even without too much decoration!
■Don’t think that just because you’re in good health, you won’t be affected by altitude sickness. People with large lung capacities are more likely to be affected on the plateau. Once you feel something is wrong, stop immediately and take oxygen. If the situation doesn’t improve, go to the hospital as soon as possible.
