
Honghaizi (Red Sea Lake), located on Zheduo Mountain in Kangding City, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, is a plateau lake at an altitude of about 4,200 meters. It is famous for its crystal-clear lake water and the snow-capped mountains surrounding it. Surrounded by surrounding mountains, the lake water is clear and blue, with an area of 0.41 square kilometers, and it is praised as the “Mirror of the Sky”. At the turn of spring and summer, the grass beside the lake is green and wildflowers are in full bloom, presenting a lively scene. When it comes to autumn and winter, the lakeside is covered with vast white snow, and light smoke and thin mist often float on the lake surface, which is dreamy and has a unique charm.
📍Yemahazi (Wild Horse Sea Lake) is a wild lake near Yajiageng in Kangding. It has been recently discovered by outdoor explorers. It is a little-known and undeveloped secret place that doesn’t require an entrance ticket. After hiking 2.5 kilometers, you can take pictures of the snow-capped mountains bathed in the golden sunlight, snow-capped mountains, icy lakes and sea of clouds all at once. It is a very worthy leisure hiking spot.
