A fairy mountain intertwined with history and nature

Qingcheng Mountain is not a single peak, but a mysterious mountain group composed of front mountain and back mountain. Qianshan is the essence of Qingcheng Mountain and the gathering place of Taoist culture. Here, there are numerous palaces and temples, towering ancient trees, and every place exudes a strong historical atmosphere. Taoist holy sites such as Tianshi Cave and Shangqing Palace not only have unique architectural styles, but also contain profound cultural heritage. Strolling in the front mountain feels like crossing time and space, conversing with ancient people, and experiencing the extraordinary tranquility and peace.

Houshan is a masterpiece of nature and a paradise for hiking enthusiasts. The mountains and waters here are interdependent, with numerous cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams, secluded pools, and short gorges and long beaches. The environment is serene, like a moving landscape painting. In terms of culture, the back mountain is mainly dominated by Buddhist culture, with Buddhist cultural landscapes such as Wanfo Cave, Guanyin Thirty Two Yingshen Cave, and Sleeping Buddha Cave, allowing people to feel the solemnity and mystery of Buddhism while getting close to nature.

There is also a significant difference in the difficulty of playing between the front and back mountains. The construction of the front mountain road is relatively complete, with regular steps and gentle slopes, covering a total distance of about 9-12km, and does not require high physical strength from tourists. Later on, the mountain is even more challenging, with rugged terrain and some sections of the steps being damaged and slippery, covering a total distance of approximately 16-19km, requiring tourists to have a certain level of physical strength and endurance.

In terms of travel time, the area of Qianshan is relatively small, and it usually takes 3-6 hours to visit the main attractions. The area of Houshan Scenic Area is relatively large and the attractions are scattered. It is recommended to set aside a whole day for sightseeing, so as to fully appreciate the natural beauty of Houshan.
