Travel guide to Bipenggou in Western Sichuan

Precautions for Bipenggou

Suggestion 1: The scenic area is quite large. It is estimated to take about 5 hours to play by taking vehicles throughout the journey (it will take 8 hours if part of the journey is on foot). It is recommended to take a one-day tour by vehicle all the way. The food and beverage in that area are expensive and not of good quality.

Suggestion 2: The core scenic spots in the scenic area are about 3,800 meters above sea level. Generally, there is no altitude sickness. Besides, the mountain roads have many sharp and steep bends. Those who are prone to motion sickness should remember to take motion sickness medicine.

Suggestion 3: It’s best to arrive at the place on the evening before. The scenic area opens at 8 o’clock in the morning. Enter the park as early as the first batch so that you can leave around one or two o’clock in the afternoon and then head for the next place. If you wait until the large crowds come out and get stuck in the parking lot, you won’t be able to get out, especially during the peak season.

Suggestion 4: Remember to check the weather forecast. It’s definitely right to bring more clothes. It is recommended to bring some self-heating rice or snacks as the food and beverage in the scenic area are really not satisfactory. And remember to bring a power bank for sure as the scenery is so beautiful.

Suggestion 6: The daily ticket of the scenic area includes the ticket for the scenic area bus from the main entrance to Shanghaizi. For the remaining two sections of the road, you need to buy tickets for the sightseeing vehicles or walk on your own. It is recommended to take the vehicles.
